Why do I need an email address on our own domain?
It’s how we check you run the business. A confirmed address on the same domain as the website on this page shows you work there, so nobody else can take the page over.
What happens when I claim the page?
It’s yours straight away. You can correct and add to anything on it, choose how it looks, and work through a short list of steps that help AI tools find it.
Can I use Continue with Google?
Yes, if your Google account is your work address on the business’s domain (Google Workspace). A personal Gmail address can’t show that you run the business.
What if I don’t have an email address on the domain?
Then the page can’t be claimed with your address. You can create a new page for your business instead.
Where does the information on the page come from?
From public sources such as the business’s own website, each cited on the page. Once it’s yours, you decide what it says.
